Here at The Creek Top, we specialize in providing Colorado Tough animals and farm products. Our animals are bred to not only survive but thrive in the challenging environment of Coal Creek Canyon. With an altitude of 8,000 feet and seasonal weather that can change rapidly, our animals are intentionally selected to handle everything from below freezing temperatures to hot arid summers and winds gusting up to 70 mph.

In addition to being able to handle extreme weather conditions, our animals are also chosen due to their ability to notice and evade or escape the predators such as mountain lions, bears, foxes, coyotes, hawks, and owls that share our land. Our commitment to ethical and sustainable animal practices ensures that our animals are not only tough but also well-cared for and healthy. That commitment extends to the wildlife and wildland around us so we do not use man made poisons of any kind to control pests, instead opting to balance nature with more natural methods. Colorado Tough livestock must accept mixed flock situations and that their primary defense from predators and pests are guardian dogs and mousers.
