Rabbits

The Creek Top raises Standard Rex for their personality, hardiness, and unique fur. We do not show, but do breed as close to the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) standard of perfection as possible. We specialize in the black, blue, chocolate, and lilac “otter” patterns, a color pattern that results in rabbits with white and tan trim around their eyes, faces, and bellies. We will also have solids of all those same colors. Standard Rex should reach an adult weight of approximately 10.5lbs. 

Rex fur is unique within rabbit breeds  because the guard hairs are the same length as the down hairs. This results in an exceptionally plush fur. Our Rex are bred for friendliness and our boys in particular are always super sweet. In the warm season, the rabbits enjoy fresh grass and especially dandelion greens.
